Wonder Pets “This is Serious!” Ming-Ming
If your child is like most children in the United States, he or she probably watches Nick Jr., Nickelodeon’s channel for kids—er, younger kids. And if your child is watching Nick Jr., he or she is probably watching the hit show Wonder Pets. And if your child is watching Wonder Pets, he or she probably wants Ming-Ming, the Wonder Pets plush toy that was a ringer for Toy Wishes Magazine’s Hot Dozen list for 2008.
Ming-Ming is the heroic duck from the hit show with adorable catch phrases, songs, and dance moves, and the doll is no different from the cartoon duck. She puts the Can Phone to her ear to answer it; she glides around on one foot and sings “The Phone is Ringing” and the Wonder Pets theme song; she strikes poses; and she performs her signature “This is Serious!” dance to the Wonder Pets theme song, too.
This darling, 13” tall Fisher-Price duck has three modes of play: Dance with Ming-Ming (the features listed above happen in this mode), Rescue Adventure (where she asks kids to help her with her adventures), and Animal Charades.
Although she is a plush toy, Ming-Ming is for children 18 months and older because of the hardware necessary for dancing and singing. The required four AA batteries are included. Ming-Ming retails for $37.99.
