In response to Rock Band 2, Activision recently unveiled the new Guitar Hero: World Tour. Drum set, bass guitar, microphone, singing? You bet. The new and improved Guitar Hero delivers the full package: The entire band. With new instruments and features, the game provides endless game play and a larger list of songs. With the previous version of Guitar Hero, the learning curve starts out super easy and then, like a brick wall, the level of difficulty goes straight up. Being the rock star requires tremendous talent and practice. World Tour delivers a more palatable learning curve that gradually increases as you get better.
Of course, there are plenty of other features. Here are a few of the more notable enhancements.
Music Studio - Ever want to be a song writer? Well, here's your chance. The guitar hero music studio allows the aspiring superstar to create digital music with the Guitar Hero instruments. Create and record a song digitally through your console. When you're done, you can share your recent work and share it with the rest of the world. Who would've thought you can be more than the musician?
Play With Others - World Tour brings people from literally the world to collaborate and play online. If you're tired about playing solo, here's your chance to play with other aspiring rock stars.
The Band - Players now have more options than ever. Imagine playing in a full band that includes a drum, guitar, and bass. Guitar Hero allows more than one member to play at one time. With Rock Band on the scene, this was an enhancement that Guitar Hero must have.
Wireless Capability - It's a no brainer that wireless capabilities are the standard. All of the new instrustments do require a wired connection. Makes lots of sense when there's a full band playing in your living room.
Dress up your Avatar - Don't like the way you look in game? Try customizing your avatar with face, body, clothes, and accessories options. Build your own unique look!
